Dental implants are the very best solution to replace one or more teeth. The only thing better would be a natural tooth. Dental implants are made of titanium but restored with a porcelain crown designed to look like natural teeth while also providing a great deal of strength and chewing capability. At Smiles for Life, we take extra measures to ensure not only your comfort, but the absolute highest success rate possible for our surgical procedures. We also employ CT imaging in our office which will tell us ahead of time exactly what size implant you’re able to tolerate and whether or not you have any unseen complications, thus lowering your surgical risk tremendously. Many more patients are able to receive dental implants thanks to our CT technology. Call today to see if you’re a candidate.
We utilize the CEREC same-day crown technology in our office. This amazing technology allows us to use a 3D camera to scan your teeth instead of taking a messy impression. Then, take that scan and create your all porcelain crown while you wait! There are no more painful temporaries or second visits to get numb again. Whether you’re here on vacation, have a limited schedule, lack transportation or just simply don’t want to keep coming in, you’ve found the right office!
Invisalign / Clear Correct
At Smiles for Life we offer a multitude of cosmetic options for our patients including clear aligners. With these clear retainers, you no longer have to worry about the stigma and poor esthetics of metal braces. Clear aligner braces include a series of clear plastic aligners that are virtually invisible and completely removable. You can eat what you want, drink what you want, and brush and floss more thoroughly to keep your dental health in optimal condition. Schedule a consultation today!
A veneer is a thin shell of porcelain that is bonded to a tooth to improve it’s color and shape. A veneer generally covers only the front and top of a tooth. Veneers can be used to close spaces between teeth, lengthen small or misshapen teeth, or whiten dark teeth. When teeth are chipped or beginning to wear, veneers can protect them from damage and restore their original appearance. We offer cosmetic consultations each day.
ZOOM! is the most effective in-office whitening system on the market. It is expected that you have your teeth cleaned prior to your whitening procedure. The ZOOM! system can brighten your teeth many shades and it only takes about an hour. It is painless and we take steps to reduce your potential for sensitivity after the procedure. ZOOM! is also a great gift for someone’s birthday, anniversary, wedding or just because!
Most general dental offices don’t offer molar root canal treatment and many do not offer root canal treatment at all! At Smiles for Life, our dentists have advanced training and offer all endodontic procedures in house unless it is in your best interest to receive a referral. Root canals are among the most commonly performed dental techniques. This process is frequently used when a tooth is so deeply decayed that the infection reaches the tooth’s pulp or nerve. By removing the decay, and the nerve, we are able to restore the tooth as if nothing ever happened. The advantages are tremendous. The patient keeps the tooth, the pain ends, and dental health is restored. Many people have curiosities about root canals and we’d love to discuss them with you during your examination, so call today!
At Smiles for Life, we truly believe in using advanced technology to improve the dentistry we provide and also it allows us to offer more treatment options than the typical dental office. With our Cerec same-day crown technology, you’ll never have to worry about messy impressions or painful temporaries ever again! With our Galileos 3D CT machine, our implant surgeries are as predictable as possible and we are able to place implants on many patients who were turned away in the past. We also employ all digital X-rays, thus lowering the amount of radiation you receive in our office to the lowest amount possible. Laser technology allows us to provide additional services and reduce healing time. Our intra-oral cameras will give you a closeup view of your teeth and gums like you’ve never seen before!

All restorations made in our office are metal free. We do not use silver-mercury amalgam fillings and we do not use metal core crowns. Composite resin fillings have a much more natural appearance, are more esthetic, and with our advanced bonding techniques, they can last longer. CEREC Porcelain crowns have a significantly higher bond strength compared to traditional lab-made Porcelain/Metal (PFM) crowns that have a metal core. Eliminating metal also eliminates allergic reactions many patients have to the nickel in these restorations which causes discoloration and inflammation.
Oral Cancer Screening
Every single examination in our office includes a complimentary oral cancer screening. Oral cancer affects 35,000 Americans every year and 50% die within 5 years. The keys to surviving oral cancer are early detection and early treatment. This starts with regular oral cancer screenings and regular dental visits. Men are twice as likely as Women to develop oral cancer. Schedule an appointment today and receive your free visual and radiographic oral cancer screening.
Gum Disease Periodontal Disease
Smiles for Life employs expert Dental Hygienists who are both thorough and gentle. 75% of American adults are affected by periodontal disease. The #1 reason for tooth loss among adults in the United States is periodontal disease, also known as “periodontitis” or “gum disease”. This is a silent infection that occurs when harmful bacteria travel beneath the gum line and create “pockets” or gaps in the gums around the teeth. This infection leads to bone loss which then leads to tooth loss. The good news is that there are effective treatments available for periodontal disease. These treatments have been proven to further reduce the bacteria inside periodontal pockets and help reduce further bone loss.
Our dentists have had extensive and advanced training at the White Cap Institute. Whether you need a dental implant, extraction, bone graft, gum graft, or gum surgery, our dentists can help you with their surgical expertise.
